Hen of the Week
Every Friday we put one reader's hen on the wall.
How it works
- Send us her name, her breed, and one sentence about her — what she does, what she rules, what she steals.
- Add a photo if you have one. A blurry one is fine. She's a chicken.
- Every Friday we pick one and post her: name, breed, and her one sentence, in her own spot on our page.
- Once a month, one Hen of the Week gets a personalized coop sign with her name on it. Free, shipped to your coop.
How to send her
Use the form at the bottom of this page — it's the fastest way. In the message box, give us three things:
- Her name
- Her breed (or your best guess — "some kind of brown one" has been accepted before)
- One sentence about what she does, rules, or steals
Tell us whether you'd like credit to your first name or your handle. If you have a photo, say so in the message and we'll write back so you can send it — or email it straight to hello@thecoopclubco.com with the subject Hen of the Week.
You can also just comment with her name on any of our posts. We read all of them.
The fine print, in plain English
- By sending a photo you're telling us it's yours and we can post it with credit to your first name or handle. Tell us which you prefer.
- We never post your last name, your address, or anything about where you live.
- Say the word any time and we take her down, no questions.
- No purchase needed. Ever. The sign is a thank-you, not a prize you buy into.
