Honest answers before you order
How long does it take?
Everything is made to order. Production takes 2–7 business days (most orders ship in 3–5), then shipping takes 2–5 business days. Most orders arrive in about 10 days. If you need a gift by a date, order early — at least 12 business days ahead, 15 during the holidays.
How much is shipping?
$4.95 flat rate, free on orders of $50 or more. We ship to the United States only, including Alaska, Hawaii, and APO/FPO. You get a tracking number by email when your order ships.
Is it actually good quality?
Tees are Bella+Canvas. Signs are 18×12 in yard signs on 4 mm corrugated plastic, with a stake. Mugs are dishwasher-safe ceramic. If something arrives misprinted or damaged, we reprint or refund it — see below.
What if it’s wrong?
Misprinted, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered — email hello@thecoopclubco.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We reprint or refund, and you don’t need to send anything back. Personalized signs are included when the error is ours.
Can I exchange a size?
Yes. Within 30 days of delivery, unworn and unwashed apparel can be exchanged for another size. Email us first and we’ll send return instructions. You cover the return shipping; the replacement ships free.
Can I return a personalized item?
Personalized signs and ornaments are made just for you, so we can’t take them back for a change of mind or for spelling entered at checkout. Please double-check the name and year before you order. Mistakes on our side are always covered.
How does the personalization work?
On the sign you type the coop or hen name (up to 22 characters), add an “est.” year if you want one, and pick one of six breed illustrations: Buff Orpington, Barred Rock, Rhode Island Red, Silkie, Easter Egger or Silver Laced Wyandotte. The preview on the page shows the layout — the printed piece follows it, with small differences in color. We print exactly what you type, so check the spelling before you add to cart.
Can I change the personalization after ordering?
Within 2 hours of ordering, yes — email us right away. After that the sign is usually already in production.
Can I get a breed that isn't on the list?
Not yet. We have six illustrations drawn for us, and we add more as we can. Tell us which breed you're missing — that's how the list grows.
I can't decide on a name.
Nobody can. Try the name generator and the spirit-hen quiz, or read 101 chicken names, sorted so you can find hers in under a minute.
Why did my order arrive in two packages?
Different products are printed by different US partners. Each package has its own tracking. Nothing is missing.
What if my package gets lost?
If tracking shows no movement for 10 business days, email us and we’ll reship at no charge.
Is it really printed in the USA?
Yes — every item is printed and assembled by print partners in the United States. Some blank garments are sourced internationally, which is why we say “printed in the USA” and not “made in the USA.”
